About
Guarana is a plant native to the Amazon, used by its indigenous people as a brewed beverage, as well as a medicine to treat ailments such as fever, heart problems, headache, joint pain, and more. The extract from the seed of Guarana contains the active ingredient, Guaranine, which is chemically identical to caffeine. It works by slow release and stimulates the heart, central nervous system, and muscles. Fun fact: Guarana is also used to flavor beverages and candy!
